Toast, butter, and jam at the Bake n' Brew Pattaya

Bake n’ Brew – Café and Bakery Pattaya (Review)

I’ve walked by Bake n’ Brew dozens of times on my daily walks around Pattaya, noting to myself that I need to come back the next day for breakfast.  This being Pattaya, things happen (late night at the bars) and I never make it there.  I’m happy to say that streak is finally broken and after having breakfast there I’m disappointed in myself for waiting so long.

Outside of the Bake n' Brew restaurant in Pattaya, Thailand

Bake n’ Brew is a nice little restaurant located on quiet Soi 23, just off of Second Road.  There is both an indoor and outdoor seating area for the restaurant.  The outside is a great area to enjoy breakfast when the weather is mild, which it was during my visit.

The place was busy, but I was still able to find a booth on the deck. The waitress stopped by quickly to drop off a menu and I had a look at some of their delicious choices.  As I’ve been hunting around to find the best English breakfast in Pattaya, the choice was easy when I looked at their menu.

My waitress dropped off my coffee, juice, and toast first.  The coffee was excellent and came with a side of real cream (or maybe milk).  The juice taste like it was fresh squeezed and not from concentrate.  The toast was lightly toasted and came with a side of fresh butter and jam.

I didn’t have long to sip on my coffee and do some reading before my meal arrived.  It looked delicious and tasted as good as it looked.  Two fried eggs, sausage, bacon, beans, and what I believe is black pudding.  The latter is not something I’ve cared to try, but maybe one these days I’ll give it a taste.

I wish I could give a few negative points about this meal, but the best I could come up with is that my bread was too lightly toasted.  Other than that, I loved the food and the atmosphere and can see myself sat on the deck enjoying many more breakfasts in the future.

After enjoying my meal and the beautiful weather I headed inside to have a look around.  While Bake n’ Brew is known for their breakfast, they have a case full of amazing looking cakes, pies, and pastries.  The lemon and blueberry cheesecake was tempting me, but I was still full from my big meal.

If you are looking for a good breakfast in Pattaya, stop on by the Bake n’ Brew for a hearty meal in a relaxing atmosphere.  They are also open for lunch and dinner but close early at 7 PM. There is a small area for parking motorbikes out front if you drive, otherwise, it is easy to get to on foot, by baht bus, or moto taxi.

  1. Good point Dave, I’m not sure why I omitted this in my write up, I believe this breakfast set cost me 165 THB. Including coffee and juice.

You can find cheaper at some other places, but I thought the food and atmosphere were both excellent.
