The park opened in 1992 after four years of construction.  In the years since the attractions available at the park have continued to grow.

Crocodile Shows

While the other aspects of the park are a nice part of the visit, the main attraction has to be the live crocodile show.  A handful of Thai trainers are in a large enclosed area with a raised center surrounded by water with some very large crocodiles.

The performers get up close and personal with the crocs is a variety of harrowing positions.  From kissing the crocodiles on the nose to putting their whole arms and even their heads in their open mouths.    The performance will have you on the edge of your seat.

Exotic Zoo

The Pattaya Stone Park is one of places to visit in Pattaya with a zoo as one of their attractions.  The house a variety of exotic animals such as tigers, bears, camels, elephants and giraffes.  In addition to seeing them in their cages you can also get your picture taken with some of them.  Pictures feeding the tiger cubs, petting a full sized tiger, and sitting next to a bear is some of the favorites.

Much like the Sriracha Tiger Zoo, the Million Years Stone park has come under some scrutiny for the treatment of the animals.

Crocodile Kingdom

The last being point of interest is the crocodile farm where they keep and breed salt water crocodiles.  Like most parks they claim to have the largest collection of crocodiles in Thailand.  Whether that is true or not is hard to say.  However one look at the pond full of crocs and it won’t matter as the numbers are huge.

Other than looking around, you can also partake in feeding the crocs a whole chicken, from the safety of a platform above them.

The Million Years Stone Park and Pattaya Crocodile Farm is located about 30 minutes from central Pattaya.  Plan on spending 2 – 3 hours to take have a good walk around, take in the show, and enjoy all the park has to offer.
