Royal Garden Plaza Pattaya
The Royal Garden Plaza mall was the first major shopping mall in Pattaya. Combining four floors of shopping, entertainment, food, and attractions. Until the opening of the Central Festival Mall, it was the most prominent shopping mall in town. Though it maybe a bit older and smaller, it is far from obsolete and is still one of the most popular malls in Pattaya.
It’s location between Beach Road and Second Road puts it in a prime position. It’s most identifiable feature is the Ripley’s Believe It or Not airplane sticking out of the side of the building on Second Road. It makes the Royal Garden Plaza an easy mall to find.

There is a wide array of entertainment options in the mall that have proved quite popular. Ripley’s Believe It or Not is the most popular attraction in the mall. It showcases items of the strange, odd, and bizarre from around the world. Also, on the same floor there is the Scream in the Dark and Ripley’s Haunted House attractions. These are two mildly scary and somewhat entertaining ways to spend an afternoon.
Louis Tussaud’s wax museum has lifelike figures of famous people from history and is a prime picture and selfie spot. There are several other entertainment venues on the 2nd floor including the Ripley’s Infinity Maze, the Vault Laser maze, and Ripley’s 4D Moving Theater. There is more than enough to keep a visitor busy on a rainy day in Pattaya.
If you are in need of clothing there is a wide range of stores that will catch your fancy. You’ll find everything from Jim Thompson’s fine Thai silk to Levi’s. In addition, Triumph, Gap, Esprit, and Nautica are just some of the many big name brand clothing stores you’ll find here. You’re sure to find something to suit your fancy from many dozens of stores from around the world and local Thai brands.
There is a wide range of food options to choose from spread across the Royal Garden Mall’s four floors. You’ll have your choice of fast food place like Burger King and KFC, Starbucks and Coffee World, Au Bon Pain, and full sit down restaurants like Sizzler, Pizza Company, and Benihana. If you want a good meal with a great view of Pattaya Bay, head to the Food Wave on the third floor. This food court offers a large selection of food specialties from around the world and the outdoor deck is a fantastic place to take in the scenery.
The mall has a range of other shops to meet your needs. You’ll find a Boot’s Pharmacy, Spas, Banks and ATM machines, and if you need to buy Apple products in Pattaya there is an iStudio with the full range of Macs, iPads, and iPhones.
